Completed in 2024, Redwood Ripple represents our most ambitious and integrated vision to date. The 500-square-foot platform soars 35 feet into the forest canopy, supported entirely by the surrounding trees through centralized laser-cut steel frames custom-engineered to harmonize with each tree's unique characteristics.
This magnificent creation is as impressive from a distance - where it mirrors the organic forms of mushroom fruiting bodies emerging from the forest - as it is up close, where visitors can immerse themselves in its countless thoughtful details. Truly a marvel that inspires wonder for all ages, Redwood Ripple exemplifies our commitment to creating spaces that blend architectural innovation with nature's beauty.
This extraordinary creation blends ambitiously whimsical design with functional entertainment spaces, creating a multi-dimensional treehouse experience that celebrates the mystical beauty of mushrooms in the forest.
At the heart of the structure stands a wooden deck resembling a ship's hull, providing an entertainment space on its upper level. Below this platform is a network of turquoise and blue netting tunnels where children can play while adults gather above. This integrated design creates separate yet connected spaces for different generations to enjoy simultaneously.
The journey begins with a remarkable spiral staircase designed to mimic a fruiting shelf mushroom growing from the forest floor. This artistic entryway sets the tone for the intricate details woven throughout the entire creation - from custom CNC-cut decorative panels to thoughtfully crafted details both above and below the decking.
Suspended walkways connect the main entertainment area to the "Crystal Ball," a geodesic wonder crafted from glass panels edged with color-changing LED lighting. This structure creates a mesmerizing play of light and reflection, especially at night when it transforms into a glowing orb nestled among the trees.
