Equilibrium Homes

NATURE MEETS INNOVATION

Equilibrium Homes represent the perfect balance between architectural vision and living practicality.

Whether as a backyard sanctuary, guest accommodation, or rental property, an Equilibrium Home provides an extraordinary living experience that connects you with nature in profound ways.

  • Insulated wall panels constructed in our workshop ensure consistent quality and efficient on-site assembly.

  • Our proprietary Tetratruss system adapts to your site's unique conditions while minimizing environmental impact.

  • Choose from our core models, then personalize with finishes, features, and configurations that reflect your vision.

  • Reduced on-site building time means less disruption to your property and faster completion.

  • Construction methods that work with nature, not against it.

  • Engineered for structural integrity and longevity in varied environmental conditions.

Each model features our revolutionary Tetratruss foundation system and prefabricated, insulated wall panels—creating spaces that harmonize with their environment while offering modern comfort.

This modular building system consists of precision-engineered struts and hubs that can be arranged in countless permutations to create foundations, decks, stairways, railings, and more. The geometric strength of this approach allows for remarkable structural integrity with minimal materials—doing more with less, a core principle of our design philosophy.

Tetratruss adapts to your site's unique conditions, working with the landscape rather than against it. The system can weave between trees, follow natural contours, and create living spaces that feel like natural extensions of their environment.

Prairie Treehouse

Prairie Treehouse creates an unparalleled journey from earth to canopy via its signature 50-foot bridge, connecting to a floating open deck—your portal to forest immersion.

Once inside, floor-to-ceiling windows and strategic skylights dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, offering spectacular sunset views and nighttime stargazing. The integrated composting toilet and fold-out hide-a-bed transform this architectural gem into a fully functional living space where you can linger indefinitely.

Madrone Grove

Madrone Grove offers the most generous living space in our Equilibrium collection. Its soaring SIP walls, clad in local redwood and copper, create a warm, light-filled sanctuary that breathes with its surroundings.

The Tetratruss foundation was iterated to fit snugly between the surrounding grove of trees, wrapping around and between them in several places. Built for the whole family to get away and have their own space, the structure features an elevated loft, grand exterior deck, and winding slide separated from the greater interior space. The large glass entryway and surrounding windows combine with maple plywood interiors for a very warm, illuminated, and airy living space bringing the best of the outdoors into the home.

Banana Slug Mountain

Banana Slug Mountain balances playful charm with sophisticated design, featuring a high peak ceiling that houses a sleeping loft and clever space-maximizing solutions throughout.

This model showcases the adaptability of our Equilibrium system with its high peak ceiling design housing a loft with hide-a-bed, while another hide-a-bed on level one provides comfortable sleep for 4 with ample lounging space during the day. The unexpected delight of the secret bookshelf bathroom entrance exemplifies our belief that functional spaces can still inspire wonder—give it a tug and watch as the secret is revealed, exposing the water closet beyond, complete with water cistern fed copper kettle sink and composting toilet. This structure was built during a feature episode of Tiny House Big Living on HGTV.
